Worldwide Evangelical Seminary

One of my fellow D.Min. students at Acadia Divinity College, Teemu Lehtonen, has started a new international seminary aimed at non-English speakers especially in the third world.  The school is called Worldwide Evangelical Seminary.  I love that he is working at increasing the biblical and theological knowledge around the world.  You can support this mission by passing on the news, praying for the project and even considering supporting it financially.  I know Teemu personally and I can vouch for his honesty and passion for theological education.  Make sure to check out their web-site.

  1. Bedard, lets be honest about the scriptural stance on suicide. What biblical proofs and support do you have for affirming that some who committed suicide are in heaven, and Christians who will commit suicide will be in heaven?
Christian Liberalism and Contemporarism should not be divorced from true biblical doctrines as enshrined in the inerrant Word of God. It is therefore imperative on our part as contemporary theologians to give close attention to Fundamentalism, where people would not be deceived to operate with false identities. The Scripture, right from the Old Testament to the New Testament blatantly condemns suicide. Lets preach the truth for erroneous behaviors and mindsets to be transformed for Christ, and to make societies better of as God intended; for such is our our duty as theologians.

    1. I think you may be commenting on the wrong post but I will still reply. I agree that suicide is wrong. But suicide is not a worse sin than greed or gossip. I also believe that we are not saved by our own righteousness.
