Animal Therapy for Veterans with PTSD

We have a service dog for our son with autism. We have seen tremendous emotional benefit for our son (which was not the original purpose). This is now available for veterans who are suffering from PTSD. PTSD is a real problem among Afghan vets and they need all the help they can get. I can’t think of anything better than a trained companion dog. My dog is an emotional support for me and I don’t have PTSD. Here is an article about this sort of therapy for vets.
