My intent for this website is not to primarily engage with other scholars (although I hope some of that will happen). I am a pastor and I look at the Bible and culture with a pastor’s perspective.
My desire is to provide practical information that will be relevant to churches. My calling definitely revolves around discipleship.
As someone who has pastored for some time, I understand the hectic schedule. There are countless emails and phone calls. Everyone wants a piece of you. There just isn’t the time to track down all the resources you need.
While I would love it if you would come and visit my website every day, I know that is unlikely. However, there is a way for you to get the highlights of the discipleship resources I provide.
I have created Hope’s Reason Newsletter to provide some unique content, spotlight some resources and summarize some of what happens on this and other sites.
“Not another email!”
I know that you are already flooded with emails. That is why I only send out the newsletter once a month (unless there is a major announcement). You can read this newsletter in a few minutes, take what you need and pass it on to others.
Of course the newsletter is for everyone and all are welcome to subscribe. But I must confess that I have a heart for pastors.
Subscribe to the Hope’s Reason Newsletter. It can’t hurt to try and you just might find it to be a valuable part of your toolbox.
