This podcast really fills a hole in the subjects that I am studying through podcasts. One of the things that I really appreciate about the Paulcast is that Kurt is a pastor and at the same time is looking at Paul at a scholarly level. It is no surprise that Kurt is influenced by N.T. Wright, who I see bringing that same balance. A bonus is that Kurt is an excellent communicator and so the podcast is easy to listen to.
As soon as I bring up Paul, people ask about where the presenter is coming from. Kurt makes it clear in the first episode that he is an anabaptist and is interested in the new perspectives on Paul. I hope that will not hold you back from listening if you have a different view. I am not an anabaptist and I am agnostic on the new perspective. I look forward to interacting with what Kurt shares and learning from his perspective.
I would encourage you to give the Paulcast a chance. They are short episodes (less than 20 minutes) and you can decide for yourself if you want to stick with it.
