I became a Christian while I was attending Brock University over twenty-five years ago. I soon got involved in Brock Christian Fellowship, a chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I was a part of that group for a couple of years and they were an important part of my early discipleship.
Brock in general and BCF in particular have been on my heart for a long time. I have been praying for ways to give back.
This past week, I had the opportunity to speak at Brock Christian Fellowship for their pastor Q&A night. I’m thankful for Tanner Kennedy, the staff worker for BCF, who invited me to come.
I had a lot of fun spending time with them and sharing my story. They asked some great questions and there was some good discussion. It is great to see BCF still doing great work with a new generation of Brock students.
The only problem is that I realized I’m old enough to be the parent of the staff worker. It made me feel old…
Why do I blog about Good News?
