Back when I was pastoring in Meaford, I was in the rotation to write a faith column for our local newspaper. It was something I really enjoyed doing.
Recently, one of the local church leaders negotiated with the St Catharines Standard to have a number of us writing for their weekly Faith Matters column. He was nice enough to suggest me as one of the contributors.
My first Faith Matters column just came out this week. It is titled: “Lovingly welcome those with disabilities to church.” The topic is not a surprise for anyone who knows me.
I’m thankful for this opportunity, both to write and to have an audience outside of my congregation.
I hope that you will check out the Faith Matters columns by all of the writers. We may learn something together.
Why do I blog about Good News?
