I recently achieved one of my goals of getting back into military chaplaincy. I actually joined the Lincoln and Welland Regiment in late spring.
However, this past Thursday was my first time at the armoury in uniform. It felt good to be back in chaplaincy. There is something unique about military chaplaincy that I just love.
I’m so impressed with the quality of soldiers in this unit. The officers are great and I’m slowly getting to know them.
I did enjoy my previous position with the Lorne Scots and they were also a great regiment. But I lived an hour and half away and the commuting had been taking a toll. I’m pretty happy now of living only 15 minutes away from the armoury.
I’m so thankful for this opportunity and I take the responsibility very seriously. This my Good News.
