Good News: The Best Party Ever
It has been many years since I had a birthday party. Until last night. My wife Amanda threw my the most amazing party to celebrate my fiftieth birthday.
It really was overwhelming, in a good way. There was amazing food and plenty of fun. The music was provided by Jacob Moon. Jacob is a talented musician and he does some great songs, originals and covers of classic rock.
There were lots of people there, people representing a number of areas and eras of my life. There were people from my current church, past churches and even as far back as grade three.
I heard from a lot of the people that came that they had a great time.
I want to thank everyone for coming and to thank Amanda for throwing this party.
I officially have a couple of days until I turn fifty but it is not seeming so bad now.
