Another Trip Down Memory Lane
Yesterday, I preached at First Baptist Church, Meaford. This was a church where I had my longest time as a pastor, approximately nine years, it it contains many memories.
I brought my daughter Emma with me, who had just finished junior kindergarten when we left and is now a year out of high school.
It was a great time to be with them. There were people I remember from FBC, but also from Woodford Baptist Church, which I also pastored at the same time, but has since shut down.
After church, Emma and I explored a bit of our old stomping grounds. While she was very young when we moved, some of the memories were awakened. It was a wonderful day together.
I am looking forward to returning again next week for one more sermon.
