I got my first tattoo when I turned fifty. I have since come to enjoyed tattoos and have gotten a number more.
What’s better than getting a tattoo? Getting tattooed with someone you care about. Amanda and I got matching tattoos for our 20th wedding anniversary. Now it has happened again, but not with Amanda.
My daughter Emma and I have been talking about getting some matching tattoos for some time. We decided to go for it as part of her 18th birthday.
Emma picked the tattoo, which was a quote from the Robert Munsch book, Love You Forever.
I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.
We divided it up, with one Emma getting the first half and I got the second half. It was a great experience and I hope to get other tattoos that represent the other kids.
