Beyond Opinion
I recently a great book on apologetics edited by Ravi Zacharias called Beyond Opinion. The book covers a wide variety of issues including atheism, postmodernism, science, Islam, Eastern religions and a number of others, all written by different authors. I found this book extremely refreshing. Each essay is not meant to be an exhaustive treatment but rather an overview of where apologists are working in these areas. Some of the essays are more academic than others, but each author brings their own perspective. I particularly enjoyed one of the essays by Ravi Zacharias. The essay is almost a mentoring essay for up and coming apologists as a master shares his experiences and strategies. It is presented with wisdom and humility. This book is a valuable resource for those beginning in interest toward apologetics and those who have been actively involved for some time. There is something for everyone in this valuable book.
