Blasphemy Against the Spirit and Personhood
What is the Holy Spirit? Is it, as Jehovah’s Witnesses claim, just the power of God, or is the Spirit a divine person within the Godhead? Here is a verse to take into account:
“And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.” (Luke 12:10 ESV)
Here are some observations. How does one blaspheme against power? It seems to require some sort of personhood. Even if the Spirit was being personified like other things sometimes are, the Spirit seems to be placed in parallel to the Son. The natural reading of this verse would seem to be that the Spirit is some sort of personal being.

Do you actually READ the verse you are trying to defend trinity with?
This is SO typical of the shotty, anti-Bible biased logic we find with those of the “Trinitarian mind set.” I know, you just cant help yourself.
If the holy spirit were on some sorta CO EQUAL LEVEL with the Son, then why is it that we read:
“And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.” (Luke 12:10 ESV)
If Mr. Trinitarian, if the holy spirit AND the Son are CO EQUAL in all things.. (as your creeds of men of which you love to defend teach) HOW on earth (or heaven) can one sin or blaspheme or speak against the Son of Man (Jesus) and HAVE it be forgiven him, BUT yet sin or speak against or blaspheme the holy spirit and have it NOT EVER be forgiven him?
To Blaspheme means to SPEAK AGAINST, put oneself in opposition to…
This verse DESTROYS your Trinitarian stance.. as does EVERY scripture in God’s word the Bible!
Unbelievable Bible ignorance with willful deceptive promotion of preconceived theological bias on the minds of those not so Biblically astute.
Again, I am stunned at the ignorance.
