Blessed With Ministry
Today was my last day as an “adjunct pastor” at Toronto Chinese Baptist Church. I have been there since the beginning of May. My purpose was to give their English Pastor, Nolan Lee the time to work on the youth and children’s events that fill up the summer. Personally, I think it says a lot about a church that they would be willing to hire someone to help their pastor out.
Before I first arrived at TCBC, I was not sure what to expect. But they quickly welcomed me and I really felt at home. I spent much of my time with the young adults group. They are a great bunch. Very intelligent, hungry for God and lots of fun. They accepted me even with all my bad puns.
I brought some of my children, mostly just Faith and they were welcomed and loved. I know Faith is already looking forward to going back. One person in the farewell card thanked me for sharing my “Faith” with them. Good pun.
TCBC is a very special church and I feel blessed that I was given four months of ministry there. I know that God is doing and will be doing great things in that church.
