Christian Leadership and Alcohol

Although the Bible does not prohibit alcohol, a recent survey suggests the majority of evangelical leaders do not drink.  You can find the article here.  I find this interesting because I have seen all positions.  I was raised Anglican and it was not uncommon to see the priest drinking if not a bit tipsy.  I later became a Pentecostal and we did not even joke about drinking.  Now as a Baptist, there is a pretty even mix of those who drink and those who don’t.  I respect those who abstain as long we do not condemn those who drink in moderation.
