Classic Troubadours Live
Amanda and I have not had much chance to get away for some time. I was pleased when Amanda purchased tickets for Classic Troubadours Live.
This is a project that was started by Jacob Moon. We have known Jacob for some time and we have seen play multiple times, including my 50th birthday party.
This particular concert was the songs of James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Carole King, and Joni Mitchell. While I have never owned any of their albums, their music was what I grew up listening to on the radio.
This group includes some phenomenal musicians. They played very faithful covers but with their own unique touches.
Aside from the quality of the music, this was enjoyable because Amanda and I had an evening together. It was a wonderful evening and I hope to be able to do something like this again.
