D-Day’s Forgotten Beach
Everyone knows that the D-Day landings at Normandy in the Second World War had five beaches: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword.
What about the sixth beach? What about Band Beach?
Never heard of it? Neither had I until recently. I found this video from Mark Felton to be very interesting. He explains what the plan was and why most of us have never heard of it.
