Good News: 23 Years of Marriage
Yesterday was the 23rd anniversary of when Amanda and I got married. Much has happened since that snowy day in St Catharines, Ontario. Even the building that we got married in is no longer a church.
We have lived in many cities and a couple of provinces. Between us we have worked numerous jobs and now we get to work together as co-pastors.
We have five children, all who are completely different from each other. I can’t imagine partnering in parenting with anyone else.
The thing I most want to say about Amanda is that I respect her. She is an intelligent, compassionate, and passionate person. She consistently puts the needs of others, and not just family, before herself. She is a special person.
We have not had the easiest twenty-three years. we haven’t even had the easiest most recent year. But we have done it together. I’m thankful for Amanda and our relationship.
