Good News: A Good Christmas
Christmas can be a stressful time for any family, including ours. There have been some holidays in the past that were less than enjoyable. That was not the case this year.
We had a great Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve at Queen Street Baptist Church. I always enjoy a candlelight service but what made it special for me was lighting the Advent candles with my wife and children.
On Christmas Day, our other two children came for a visit. We hadn’t seen them in about a month and we really missed them. Our visit with Abby went really well as you can read here. Logan stayed for a few more days and that was a lot of fun.
We had some really good days with our other three children. This included some Boxing Week shopping, which is usually not my thing. Plus Justus and I went to see Rise of Skywalker, which we enjoyed.
In general it was a good Christmas. It was a time with family and a time to relax. This is Good News.
