Good News: A Good Weekend
I’m thankful for quality time, in whatever way that looks. This past weekend can be included in that as I went to the cottage with one of my daughters.
Part of the quality time is the drive. It is a two hours drive each way to the cottage, which gives a lot of time for both listening to music (we have similar tastes) and chatting. Uninterrupted conversation with a teenager should be celebrated anytime it happens.
Part of our purpose for going to the cottage was to do a little bit of work. I cut the crass and she scraped part of a section of trim that we need to repaint. But of course it was more than work. We took time to go down by the lake and just hang out. We also watched a movie together.
Sometimes a good weekend is an “adventure” and some times it is just quality time with someone you care about.
