Good News: A Great Mother
My Good News is easy this week. I am so thankful for Amanda as the mother of our children. We have a complicated family. We have two biological children who don’t live with us and three adopted children that do live with us. This creates an interesting dynamic.
Amanda is quick to reject the label of “Super Mom.” That’s part of what makes her such a great mom. She faces the circumstances that are there and does the best she can.
Our family is not perfect. But it is a home where everyone knows they are loved. Amanda is a big part of that. She is emotionally available and that is far more important than having all the answers.
I’m thankful for Amanda, not just for what she does, but for who she is. She is an amazing person and she has both my love and respect.
