Good News: An Unexpected Sunday Off
I was sick this week (and still am). That is not good news. But in the age of covid, we cannot just push through the way we have before. especially as a pastor of a church, I cannot just show up sick for a service.
Thankfully, I don’t have covid but I was still quite sick. On Friday, a replace preacher was found so that I could have the Sunday off to recover. And this, despite the fact that I recently gave my resignation and only have a few weeks left.
It is another reason that I am thankful for the good people at Queen Street Baptist Church. I hope I fully recover soon as I don’t want to miss another Sunday with them.
