Good News: Churches Together
One of my favourite things about being a pastor is the opportunity to minister with other pastors and churches. This past Sunday, I got to experience that again.
We only have two churches in Brookfield: Brookfield Baptist Church and Knox United Church. During the summer, we have a Coming Home to Brookfield event for the community. Our two churches plus Middle Stewiacke United Church are involved in an opening and closing service.
The plan was to have a service at the Train Station. Because of the bad weather, we had the service at Knox. It was a great time together and the best thing is that we get to do it again this Sunday.
Michael Henderson provided a great message and there was inspiring worship music by Tim Ross and Abby Fisher. Getting an opportunity to be a part of this was a blessing.
