Good News: Coming Together as a Family
Many of my recent “Good News” posts have been about our move to Nova Scotia and this one will be as well.
This move has been a major transition for Amanda and I. But it has just as much been for our children. They were not that excited to leave their friends behind and I can’t blame them.
We have had some rough days as feelings were strong. But I have been amazed at how well the kids have done. They are slowly finding their way here.
It is not always the way we expect and there have been some days better than others. But they are beginning to fall in love with Nova Scotia as we have.
Even more than that, it is starting to bring us together as a family. They are not just alone in their rooms. We seem to spend more time together.
Our goal for this move to Nova Scotia is new beginnings. We are seeing that in all sorts of ways, including in the life of our children.
