Good News: Discovering Family
I recently signed up for Ancestry and did their DNA test. I have always been interested in my family background and there is much that I don’t know.
It is interesting that I am writing this on St. Patrick’s Day as one of the things that I discovered is that I am half Irish. I knew that I had some Irish in me but thought I was more French Canadian than I am.
More than ethnic groups, I’m interested in connecting with my family. There is a particular segment of my family that I’m trying to find. I found some real solid clues. In fact I have already connected with some cousins that I never knew existed. It has been a fun adventure and I’m excited to see where it leads.
