Good News: Fun With Pickle Ball
For the last couple of years, I have heard a lot about something called “pickle ball” but had no idea what it really was.
Recently, we started offering pickle ball at our church and I finally got my chance to play it. The reputation it had was that of something older people enjoyed. Would I like it?
I actually enjoy it quite a bit. It is a game that people of all ages can play and have fun. If you don’t want to move around much, that’s fine. If you want to play hard, that works as well.
It is also a social game and it is great for getting to know people in the community. It is a fun time of hanging out and getting a bit of exercise.
I am really bad at it, although there is some slow improvement. Still, I look forward to it each week. In fact, I’m just about it off for a bit of pickle ball.
