Good News: Queen Street Baptist Church Anniversary
My Good News for this week is the amazing service we had at Queen Street Baptist Church. At our church, we celebrate our anniversary every year. This year it was our 186th anniversary.
Our anniversary service went so well. Our guest speaker was Chantal Huinink. I got to know Chantal through Christian Horizons. She shared a challenging and encouraging message from Psalm 36. We also had plenty of special music, as well as a number of visitors.
Of course being Baptists, we also had a potluck lunch. Having a multicultural congregation, our potlucks are incredible!
The entire service was a reminder of how thankful I am to be at QSBC. We have a tremendous history and a bright future.
