Good News: Remembering My Father-in-Law
This may seem like an odd subject for my weekly Good News post but I want to acknowledge that it was one year ago tomorrow that my father-in-law, Mark Peschell died. Obviously I am sad that he is no longer with us but my Good News is that I’m thankful for knowing him.
Unfortunately, the inevitable cost of having someone in your life is that you will have to say goodbye at some point.
Amanda and I plan to remember Mark in a special way tomorrow. We bout Toronto Maple Leafs hats today, which was his favourite team. Tomorrow night, we will watch The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, which was one of his favourite movies.
My Good News is that I had a great father-in-law, my kids had a great papa, and my wife had a great father.
