Good News: The Picture of Family Fun
This weekend was the wrap up of a week of vacation for me. It is easy to let those moments get wasted on things that don’t matter.
So Amanda, the wise person that she is, decided that we would end it with a games night. Our kids play video games all the time but it is not often that we play a game together without technology.
We decided to play Pictionary. I love Pictionary. Although I am a bit of a drawer, all my talent goes out the window with this game.
We played three games, all with different teams. We had a blast. There was lots of shouting and laughing as we missed answers we should have gotten and guessed ones that were obscure.
Even our daughter Faith, who is usually very shy even around us, was yelling and getting excited.
I hope that we do this again regularly. We picked up a few other games and are looking forward to more family fun.
