Good News: Working With My Wife
The Outreach Director at Queen Street Baptist Church recently resigned. It is important for us to continue these ministries and so we have hired an interim Outreach Director. That person is Amanda Bedard.
Not only is Amanda a ministry student at McMaster Divinity College, she has natural gifts in these areas. Amanda will be giving leadership to our Conversation Club and our Saturday Night Service, as well as promoting the vision of outreach at our church.
This week was Amanda’s first week on the job. I don’t know how she feels but I have loved it. Not every couple and can work together but we have different gifts and complement each other.
You might be wondering what we mean by “interim.” This is a four month contract as we look at the future of the position. We are committed to outreach but we want to make sure the position is the best it can be.
Amanda has been doing a great job and I am excited to be working with her. This is my Good News.
