Happy Mother’s Day
This day means a lot to me because of two moms in my life. The first is my mother. I have so many great memories of her. She was very loving, generous and encouraging. She was a great mother and grandmother. Unfortunately, mom died five years ago last month. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. I miss her very much. At the same time, I am thankful for having had her in my life for forty years.
The other mom in my life is Amanda. She is an incredible mom to our five children. We have not had the easiest family life and yet she has risen above it all and has taken care of our family. I can’t imagine anyone better to be the mother of our kids. I am so thankful for her.
I guess you could say that Mother’s Day is a symbol for me of the blessings I have received all of my life.
