My Question About the Unknown Soldier
When I first started collecting comics, I only collected war comics. One of those that I collected was the Unknown Soldier. While I loved the stories, I always had a question.
On the cover, the Unknown Soldier always wore an army uniform, including a helmet. But in the comic, he always wore civilian clothes (unless he was disguised as someone in the military) with a trench coat.
I wish I knew why the writers/artists chose that. I kind of hoped that one day he would show up in his army uniform with the helmet in the story.
By the way, I think the Unknown Soldier set in WWII would make a really good movie. I would love to see DC invest in their military characters when it comes to movies.
