My Three Favourite Cameos in Deadpool and Wolverine
I assume that most people who wanted to see Deadpool and Wolverine enough to avoid spoilers, have already seen the movie. If not, I will give you some space to go and see the movie and then return to this post.

One of the things that makes Deadpool and Wolverine so much fun is all of the cameos. It is especially cameo-heavy when it comes to the Fox movies that featured Marvel characters.
Johnny Storm/Human Torch
There is one scene where we are about to meet a beloved Marvel character. It seems like it is going to be Captain America, since the actor is obviously Chris Evans. But just when we think we are going to see Cap in action, he speaks the legendary phrase: “Fame on!”
Before Chris Evans was ever Captain America, he was Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, in two Fantastic Four movies. We never thought we would see Evans playing this character again and yet, here he is. Of course, being in a Deadpool movie, this is done with a very humorous twist.
Blade
I enjoyed the Blade movies starring Wesley Snipes. But I must confess that at the time I did know they were Marvel movies, being more of a DC guy. I did not expect to see this version of Blade again, but I enjoyed it. He came across as sort of the Fox elder statesman to the group of rebel heroes.
I especially appreciated his statement that there is only one Blade, since the audience knows a new Blade project is being worked on with a new actor. Then there was the feud between Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds which just made these scenes perfect.
Laura Kinney/X-23
My first two choices were based on nostalgia and I almost picked Elektra for the same reason. But really, I enjoyed the appearance of X-23 more. She is a more recent character, at least in the movies, having appeared in Logan.
She ended up being a pivotal character in the development of the Wolverine that appears in this movie. I liked the way she was used and it was a natural progression from her appearance in Logan.
