Online Tools That I Use
I am involved in quite a few online activities, from blogging to podcasting to self-publishing books. I thought I would share the tools that I use. I am not promising they are the best available but thy have been useful for me and they may be a place for you to get started.
- I use HostPapa for my domain registration and website hosting.
- I use WordPress.org (rather than WordPress.com) for my websites.
- I use Podbean for my podcasting.
- I use Pixaby for good free images.
- I have used Lulu for self-publishing paper and eBooks. I have recently started using Createspace and I like it better, especially the lower shipping costs..
- I use Audacity for audio recording and editing.
- I use Buffer for spacing out posts to Facebook and Twitter.
- I use Fiverr for getting graphic design jobs done but they have way more to offer than just that.
- I use Mail Chimp for sending out my newsletter.
- I use Survey Monkey for doing research for certain projects.
This is all that I can think of right now but I will add to the list as new tools become available. I can say that I have been happy with all these tools and I do recommend them.
