Sew What?
When I think of the positive things happening in my life, it is natural for me to look to things that my children are doing. I am proud of all of them but I want to focus on one for the moment.
Just a couple of weeks ago, our youngest decided to take up sewing. This includes both hand sewing and using a sewing machine.
This took me off guard as previously, she only showed interest in computer-related hobbies. But she has really taken an interest and is doing well.
It began with just practicing stitches and went to working on a fairly complex project. It is coming along well and I am really blown away by how it is turning out.
I need to give credit to Amanda who is working with our daughter on this. Amanda, despite her health issues, has been a great health. It has done my heart good to watch mother and daughter working on this together.
By the way, what did the person say when they made a mistake sewing up a hole in a sock?
