Spiritual But Not Religious
Very often I encounter people who say that they are spiritual but not religious. CNN has an interesting article on this very subject that you can find here. I appreciate the article and the way it reflects on the danger of this generic spirituality. To me it comes down to the purpose of being spiritual. If spirituality is simply to find personal happiness, then go ahead and pick and choose what you want. But if the purpose of spirituality is to find the truth, than it will take more work than just taking what you want or like from a variety of religions and sects.
