Star Trek TNG – Going Back to the Future
Star Trek: The Next Generation is a series that I really enjoyed when it first was on television. A few times, I got together with friends just to watch it. The first couple of seasons were kind of cheesy but after that it got really good.
I have gone back and have started watching it again from the first episode on Netflix. As I have gotten to the final season, I have encountered a pleasant surprise. I actually haven’t seen most of these episodes before. The final season aired at time that was very hectic for me and television didn’t become a priority.
This means that I get to enjoy these great episodes now for the first time. They hold up very well, considering how long they were made. Currently, the other Star Trek series are on Netflix as well. I know I missed a lot of episodes with them as well. I don’t know if I will get to them all before Netflix pulls them again. But I will enjoy them while I can.
My wife is a total Trek nerd. She has watched all of the shows from TNG, DS5, the original, and we’re almost through Enterprise. She watches it while folding laundry, which is a great way to not get your husband to complain about Star Trek. 🙂
I have watched right through TOS, TNG and Enterprise. I’m trying DS9 but it is so boring so far.
