Star Trek Voyager: Season Two – Review
To be honest, there is not much difference between the first and second seasons of Voyager. That doesn’t mean that they are bad.
Season two starts where the first ended. Voyager is still making their way back to the alpha quadrant. Inexplicably, they are still stopping to analyze every anomaly that they encounter.
The Kazon play a greater role in this season but they just don’t measure up to the other hostile races of Star Trek lore. Much more interesting were the Vidiians.
Most of the characters were developed more in this season, which was nice. The Doctor is still the highlight and he had some good episodes.
The second season of Voyager was neither great nor terrible. But compared to where TNG and DS9 were at that point, it is still better.
Definitely the series is interesting enough to keep watch and I haven’t been tempted to quit (unlike DS9).
