Thankful For All of the Support and Prayers
As some of you may know, we had a health issue in our family last week. Early in the morning, my wife was taken to the hospital by ambulance with stroke-like symptoms.
This is the third such issue in just over a year. Severe weakness on the left side and the inability to walk or talk. Scary stuff.
Thankfully Amanda is home now. They ran tests and have ruled out a number of causes, including a stroke. We still do not fully know what is causing this.
The Good News is that we really felt the support of friends and family. A couple of meals were provided for our family. My work gave me some time off and the commandant and school sergeant major even visited Amanda in the hospital.
Plenty of people reached out with encouragement and prayers. We are thankful for all of this.
Please continue to pray for Amanda as she recovers her strength and for the answers to what is causing these episodes.
