10 Reasons Not to Do Apologetics

Of course I believe that it is important to be involved in apologetics. However, most Christians are not involved in apologetics. This would be my guess for the top ten reasons not to be involved in apologetics.

1. I don’t feel led.

2. I don’t think I am smart enough.

3. What if people ask me a question that I don’t have an answer for.

4. I don’t have time.

5. I don’t want to just have head knowledge of God.

6. What if my church friends make fun of me?

7. Nobody can prove that God exists.

8. You can’t argue people into the kingdom of God.

9. I’m an introvert.

10. I wouldn’t even know where to start.

While most people would not have all ten excuses, I suspect many Christians could identify with one or more reasons not to be involved in apologetics. Starting tomorrow, I am going to post on each of these ten points and try to find a way for us through this.
