Atheists Take to the Subways
A while back, some atheist organizations made the news with their provocative bus ad campaign. Now they are taking it to the next step as they start a new ad campaign in the subways. You can read about it here. I have one issue with this. In this article, atheists are counting the rise in ‘no religion’ as a gain for atheists. From my own experience, there have been times that I would have listed myself as ‘no religion’ but still believed in God. It would be like Christians taking everyone who believes in a god as support for Christianity. This is another example of fudging the facts. Having said that, I have no problem with this ad campaign. I do not think that it is harmful and anything that creates healthy discussion is a good thing. Let the conversation begin!
