Godzilla vs Kong – Review
I will admit that I have a soft spot for both Godzilla and King Kong as they were both parts of my childhood. I remember seeing the 1962 King Kong vs Godzilla movie (but only in reruns) and thinking I was in heaven.
Both Godzilla and King Kong have been regaining popularity and so it was only natural for them to appear again together in the new Godzilla vs Kong.

So how was it?
It is basically a monster version of Batman v Superman. Seriously. It is two opponents, that deep down we know are good, but who fight each other over a misunderstanding. Then the real bad guy appears and they team up to defeat him. That’s about it.
That’s not to say it was a bad movie. I liked Batman v Superman and I liked Godzilla vs Kong. There was not much to the story, but that’s okay. Neither King Kong, nor Godzilla are about the story. It is all about awesome moster action.
And Godzilla vs Kong doesn’t disappoint on that. Great fight scenes and a satisfying ending. Wonderful, mindless fun.
