Good News: A Visit Back to Ontario
No, I did not go back to Ontario but Amanda and two of our children did. An opportunity came up for part of the family to back to Ontario and visit friends and family.
I’m thankful they were able to that. Amanda was able to see her parents and her grandmother. She was also able to visit with our children who still live in Ontario.
Our kids also got to visit with some of their friends. Relationships are important for everyone, but especially for teenagers. I’m glad that they had this time.
But what about me and Faith? We stayed here in Nova Scotia. Part of my time was taking care of our pets, especially our new puppy. That kept me busy.
But Faith and I took some time to have quality father-daughter time. We went out to see a movie, the first one we had seen in a couple of years.
We also went to a place called Build-A-Bear, which was fun, especially if you like stuffed animals. We took that road trip as an opportunity to see the Atlantic Open, which was close by. This was my first time seeing the Atlantic in Canada. It was a fun time.
The rest of the family comes back tonight and I am looking forward to it. Not just because I could use help with the puppy but because I miss my family. Still, I’m glad they were able to take this trip.
