Good News: Back in Uniform
One of my roles is that of a chaplain in the army reserves. In fact leaving my regiment in Ontario was one of the difficult things about coming to Nova Scotia. The plan was always to start serving with a regiment (or more) here.
My transfer is a long process and technically I am still in the midst of it. However, today I was actually able to get back in uniform and attend an actual event.
The plan is for me to serve with two units, one of which is 3 Intelligence Company. Today, they had an event to remember the Battle of Amiens and I was able to participate.
It felt so good to be back in uniform. Better than that was the opportunity to get to know some great people in the unit. I’m excited to be able to serve with them regularly in September.
