Good News: Candlelight Experience
I am always amazed at how Amanda is able to find events for us to experience as a family that are able to draw together our widely divergent tastes. The most recent was a Candlelight Concert.
This was a string quartet, surrounded by hundreds of candles, playing music related to Halloween. This included classical music, popular music, and music from television shows and movies.
I had never been to something like this. It was incredible to hear some familiar songs done by a string quartet. Plus I got to experience some songs for the first time.
Our daughters can get pretty picky when it comes to what they enjoy. But they love Halloween and they love spooky television shows and movies. The look on their faces when some of their favourite songs began was magical.
We all walked away from that concert agreeing that was time well spent. If you ever get a chance to see one of the Candlelight Concerts, I strongly recommend it. You can find out more at this link.
