Good News: Family Fun
We had an enjoyable couple of days visiting with family. As an only child, my only opportunity to be an uncle is on Amanda’s side and thankfully there are nephews for me to play with.
We had a nice dinner tonight with Amanda’s parents and all of her brothers and a whole bunch of little kids. It was great to see the cousins playing together. There was a lot of giggling and wrestling.
I will confess that I am the goofy uncle. I was never great with kids until I became a parent but now I love kids. I even like babies, which was not true at all when I was young.
I’m so thankful for family in my life.
