Good News: Glad to Be Where I Am
Today was the annual meeting at Queen Street Baptist Church. An annual meeting may not sound like a lot of fun but it was an important reminder for me. At our annual meeting, we looked at the things that happened in the past year and what we hope to accomplish in the coming year. There was an encouraging and optimistic spirit to the meeting.
This is just another reminder that I am where I am supposed to be. I find it hard to believe that I have only been with this congregation for just over a year. It feels so much like home. There are some fantastic people in this church and I’m looking forward to what God will be doing through us this year.
After being out of pastoral ministry for three years, I’m so glad that I was given the privilege to be the pastor of Queen Street Baptist Church. This is my good news.
