Good News: Magic Mountain
Although we still have a few more weeks before summer is officially over, Labour Day weekend often feels like the end of summer. It feels like the last blast of fun before school starts.
We were not sure what we were going to do on this weekend as there were a number of options. The one that won out was Magic Mountain.
This is an amusement and water park in New Brunswick. It was decided I would take the girls as that is something they really enjoy. It was also our chance to visit New Brunswick basically for the first time (I spent an hour there over thirty years ago).
It was a fun time. I am not much or a ride person, although I did spend some time on the Scrambler and Tilt-A-Whirl (both part of my own Labour Day memories).
The best part was just watching my daughters have fun. There were lots of smiles and laughs and screams. Getting to witness that was a blessing.
The park itself was very nice and someplace we will want to go back to next year. It is only two hours away and it is a pleasant drive. But mostly, it was about building a new set of Labour Day weekend memories.
