Good News: On Vacation
As of today, we are now on vacation. This is Good News.
Now, this is not because I have a job I dislike because I really like my job. I’m so thankful that I am in a career that I enjoy and that is life giving.
However, after seven months of being a pastor at one church and three months of being an interim pastor at another church, I am ready for a break.
The other part of the Good News is that this coincides with us taking possession of our cottage. While we cannot spend the entire two weeks there (because of pets and children at school), we will be making a couple of trips.
I’m glad to have this time to recharge, so that we can jump back in when we return in mid-September.
