Good News: Proud of Pastor Amanda
This has been a time of great transition for our family. One of the big changes is that Amanda and I are co-pastors of Brookfield Baptist Church.
Amanda and I did work together at Queen Street Baptist Church in the past. Amanda was the Outreach Director/Co-ordinator there. While she did not have the official title of pastor, she was fully a pastor in role.
Now Amanda is officially a pastor. I am so thankful that we are able to minister together. This is not about me giving Amanda a chance for some experience. This is about recognizing that Amanda is already gifted and that there are things that she can do better than I can.
This co-pastoring experience is about teamwork. Amanda and I understand that we work better together than we do apart.
We have had our first week and our first Sunday together. I want to say that I am extremely proud of Amanda. She has so much to bring to this ministry and I am looking forward to working with her.
