Good News: Surprised by Faith
When you hear a pastor talk about faith, you probably think I have something specific in mind. But in this case, I’m not referring to belief but our daughter Faith.
Faith is our youngest child and is pretty quiet. It can be a challenge for people to get to know her because she is so shy. In many ways, she reminds me of myself at her age.
Recently, Faith has been surprising us in many ways. She has been helping out with the special education class at her school and is doing amazing with that. Not only is she making a difference with the students, she is developing new skills. She has brought home an interest in baking.
We have always known that Faith is talented, especially when it comes to art. She does a lot of digital art. Now we have discovered that she is extremely gifted with accents, especially British and Australian accents. It is uncanny how realistic he accents are.r
Faith has been the one child that I had trouble figuring out her style of music. She has found her style and it is the music of the 1930s and 1940s, groups such as the Inkspots. It is another part of her uniqueness.
All of this is a fun experience of being surprised by our teenage Faith.
